  • Originally designed for high-performance running, the Nike Air unit provides lightweight cushioning that lasts
  • Large arch that brings nature to the city, inspired by a whale's tail and offering more structure, along with iconic wavy stripes on the side that evoke palm trees and ocean waves
  • The rubber outsole offers greater traction and durability

The origin of Nike Air Max

The revolutionary Air unit technology began to be used in Nike shoes in 1978. In 1987, the Air Max 1 was introduced with visible Air unit technology in the heel, allowing fans of the model not only to feel but also to see the cushioning of the Air unit.
