Hand grip from Amila with adjustable resistance 10-40kg.
Characteristics:
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
It is correct and in my opinion one of the best, if not the best, in terms of design.
The handles are good and the grip, although it initially irritates the skin, becomes very good after a little use.
These days I am lifting maximum weight, meaning more than the line, probably around 45-50kg, and it is perfect. Although I never let it sit at the Max, because I always have to warm up to lift with Max properly without getting injured.
What remains is to learn the correct way of using it, let me put it this way: 1) How to hold it correctly, see my pictures or a video, and 2) Always warm up, meaning 2 seconds of movement at the beginning to warm up the hand with less weight than Max, and always controlled movements.
Now, if it has any weakness, it would probably be the fact that it has a large opening, so someone with small fingers might struggle to put it on their hand correctly.
After 2 weeks, a friend asks me what this is. He grabs it and tries to bend it to test it, but the ring that holds the spring breaks.
I have been using it daily for 4 months and it hasn't suffered the slightest damage. Its construction is sturdy.
The Tanalaki is very poorly designed, I do not recommend it for purchase because it does not close perfectly. I have large hands but it always gives me difficulty in closing.
Very good, it just squeaked at a specific angle. I put some WD-40 on it and after a while it went away.
The spring, during the first months of use, gradually started to wear out, to eventually break after a year or so (almost daily use). I would prefer another product, purely because of the quality of materials. However, it did its job while it lasted.
It is very high quality and easy to adjust.
I read that it has broken for some people.. I have been using it at full capacity, meaning at 40 kilos, for 2 months and it hasn't had any issues.
Cheap construction that the signs faded immediately, but it does its job and earns its money
Overall mediocre construction, the handle slips easily if your palms sweat and the spring creaks from the beginning of use. It is good to start with, especially with the adjustable resistances, but you might prefer another brand.
It does its job, but it creaks to an annoying degree from the first days. Average quality overall.
I used it for one day and the spring started making strange noises when opening and closing it, which is very annoying. I do not recommend it, get something else
The spring does not adjust the intensity as promised. Compared to the same band from another manufacturer, the spring here is very soft. Of course, this is not a problem for me.
It has increased the vascularity of the bar and has definitely helped with volume, but not a huge difference. I always have it in my routine when I do arms and the pump it provides is unmatched. The arms need a good warm-up before starting multiple repetitions. With warming up, I can easily do three times as much as when I'm cold and struggling.
1/9/2022: From struggling to do a few repetitions with a 15kg resistance, now I can hold statically 40kg for almost a minute and the repetitions come out very easily. Day by day, I do exercises but not too strictly. It does a good job. The bar hasn't dramatically changed in appearance because even with 40kg, you can't see a big difference. Changes are noticeable from 90+ kg.
The skipping rope is excellent, I have it for 2 years. At first, your palms may hurt or get a little injured. In terms of quality, imagine that I have even nailed a screw and it didn't suffer any damage. Now, for your palms, you can wear gloves.
It looks good, however, I'm not very sure about its durability over time. It does the job it promises. I will come back in a little while.
After 2 months of use (every day) and once my hands got used to the grip, the spring broke and it became useless.
The spring broke after 2 weeks of use. Not recommended for prolonged use as it chafes your hands.
It is an ergonomic product.
The only negative thing I can say is that at maximum intensity (40kg), friction is created in the joint and the plastic rubs... For this reason, I don't know if it will hold up and have durability over time.
I bought two and unfortunately they are not the same. One is 5 stars as it is quite high quality in all aspects.
The second one looks similar but it has nothing to do with it. When you decrease the resistance, the range of motion decreases dramatically. Which makes it useless unless you put it at 40 kilograms of resistance...
In short, it's a lottery which one you will get unfortunately.
It's great. It lasted for 6 months of use, only being used 3 times a week, and it has minimal wear on its plastic joints
Very nice, so far it has withstood, very useful for warming up and strengthening the grip with a nice soft feeling, to have it in your hand and play.
When you put it on low resistance, the travel is also very small. I don't know about the quality because I haven't had it for a long time to see if it withstands. Otherwise, it's a good deal, worth its money with 8€ including shipping.
Very good and durable product! And very useful that it has an adjustment!
And I'm coming back, 15/03/2021 - the spring broke, I was using it every day for about 2 hours and it broke.
So it lasted a month.
I will now buy the simple one without adjustments...
Very good user experience. The ability to choose the weight is the best thing if there are 2 or 3 users.
I have had it for about 12 years, and yet it still works like new! No rust or anything. With three sets of 15 and additional exercises, it became like a professional
Very good for its price. Smart construction especially for beginners, as with the adjustment you will use it for a long time and by different people in the house.
Perfect product, you can adjust the resistance power from 10-40kg. I haven't noticed any strange sounds (e.g. spring squeaking, plastic noises).
At first, it creaks but there is no reason to be scared. It settles over time and is sturdy, and it does a very good job because it allows for progressive overload. I highly recommend it
Good construction with non-slip handles. Convenient resistance scale that adjusts to every strength. The only possibly negative thing was a squeak it made on the base of the spring, but it smoothed out with a little spray of oil.
Very good construction. It shows that it will last for a long time! The rubber on the handles is of good quality and the ability to adjust the resistance is easy.
