In the "Spelling Index", the child, with the help of the images initially and then on their own, will record the words they learn and use more frequently or those that present spelling difficulties. Thus, this Index can function as a personal "word bank". Every time they need it - such as during the production of a simple text - the child will independently refer to the corresponding letter of the Index and find the correct spelling of the word they are looking for.
The benefit that the child will gain is twofold: they will gain autonomy in searching for the correct spelling of words and become familiar with the process of finding entries in a dictionary. Especially children who are learning Greek as a second language will have the opportunity to compile their own Greek vocabulary, which they can refer to at any time.
