This bilingual "Anthology of German Poetry" includes poems from the year 1170 to 2012. The original German text is presented alongside the Greek translation. It mainly features famous poems in Germany:

"The Elf King" and ten other poems by Goethe, "The Division of the Earth" and four other poems by Schiller, "The Linden Tree" and "Greece and the World" by Muller, "The Lorelei" and seven other poems by Heine, "Autumn Day" and "Autumn" by Rilke, seven poems by Nobel laureate Hesse, five poems by Brecht, including "Song of the German Mother", and a contemporary poem by Nobel laureate Grass.

The purpose of this book is to bring these poetic texts of German literature closer to the interested Greek reader.
