Description

The book attempts an overview of the social ideas that aimed at the liberation of the proletariat and the abolition of prehistory. Marx's messianic perception of the rise to power of the proletariat and the transition from necessity to freedom quickly led to the Leninist doctrine for the party of a new type, which would fulfill this mission.

In the conditions of Russia, the party replaced the class and power became an end in itself. Lenin was the founder of the new totalitarianism, while Stalin exterminated his intra-party "opponents," abolishing ideology.

The Leninist-Stalinist model was imposed on the global communist movement in such a way that the means, power, abolished the purpose, social liberation. Over the course of decades, power "forgot" its ideological mandate and embraced its apologetic nature to become empty propaganda.

In Greece, the attempt of party imposition, with Zachariadis, from 1931 to 1956, led to tragic consequences, with the 1940-50 decade leaving a heavy legacy on society. The heterodox party power, without strategy, led and reinforced the deadlocks.

Syriza is the latest symptom of political opportunism, where the self-interest of power is expressed in an extremely ridiculous way, with double language, abroad as consent, internally as "resistance." Once again, power attempts to manipulate the people, but now it acts out of place and time.

The need to strengthen democratic institutions and the creative presence of the citizen is the demand of the times.
