In one sentence, it's magical!
No friend had recommended it to me, I just saw it in a walkthrough on YouTube and I was excited by the colors.
Where to start, from the playful, dazzling and cartoonish graphics that take you on a journey and remind you of the childhood shows we watched when we were young, or from the music that takes you back to your childhood, so innocent and relaxing.
The gameplay is flawless except for the level that seems to not go along with the abilities of your character, it's too easy, it gives you the impression that it's unnecessary.
I bought it a year ago along with a plethora of games that I stored under the couch, but now it's time to start playing it.
It's huge, it took me 55 hours to finish it because I was determined to get the gold trophy for the mission with the labyrinth.
* Extremely entertaining and a game that requires a lot of time dedication.
* I was so excited that I bought the latest one from the store.
* It's a game for the old-school RPG enthusiasts!
Flawless game! I believe that anyone who enjoys the JRPG genre will thoroughly enjoy it. It offers a great variety of things that personally neither bored me nor made me feel tired. On the contrary, they made me want to explore the game even more. Regarding the aspects, I will focus on three main things that caught my interest.
First of all, the beautiful battle system combined with its anime graphics simply looks stunning. You can switch characters during battles and have a wide variety of combos, spells, and weapons to use. I believe that anyone who has delved into RPG games should play the hard mode because the normal mode is quite easy and doesn't allow you to fully enjoy the battles.
Secondly, it is a lengthy game with many quests that I find interesting and not particularly repetitive. There is exploration, mini boss fights, and more.
Lastly, I consider the story to be original and well-crafted. It doesn't tire you out, and you eagerly await to see how this beautiful adventure will unfold!
Especially at the current price, purchasing it is definitely worth it!
I like games of this kind. It has really cool battles and I remember that RPGs had battles where one hits after the other. I have noticed such a battle style in other games as well, but that doesn't interest us now. It has a good story, good graphics for a game of this kind, and let's not forget that you build your own kingdom (the title says it, and those who know even a little Japanese will understand)
Beautiful game with excellent gameplay (its combat system is addictive). I dedicated 70 hours to the game and will probably give it more. The truth is, it is quite easy on normal difficulty, so I recommend the expert (hard) mode for those who want something more "interesting". It will get significantly harder towards the end, but it's worth it. As for the downsides, I would say there are some secondary quests that are not well-developed, but with so many quests, some of them are bound to be mediocre. Also, I really liked the ending because it surprised me, as I didn't see it coming from miles away (obviously). It's definitely worth 100% of its price, especially if you're into this type of game.
It does not have the magic of the first one. Unfortunately, it falls short. Several missions are very boring and repetitive. The combat mode is interesting but too easy. It doesn't require much leveling at all. I would like more dialogues and cutscenes and not so much text dialogues. There were expectations that it did not meet, and this is evident in the price drop. For now, I have put it aside...
Whoever tries it knowing what they're getting into will love it. I tried it for a couple of hours and then went and bought the collector's edition right away. I follow collector's editions from time to time and what they offer, and this one truly respects the consumer (vinyl soundtrack, large and multi-page artbook, music box with figures inside). Now, for the game, the positives are the graphics, which are like paintings and make it timeless, INCREDIBLE music, pretty good gameplay and loot system, it didn't have a strong storyline and replayability, but the positives outweigh the negatives by far.
If you are a fan of JRPGs, don't look any further. Beautiful, huge (I'm at 87 hours and still have a long way to go), with great variety in gameplay. Another big positive is the amazing soundtrack. One of the best on Ps4.
Guys, the game is a gem... I ordered the collector's edition because I was blown away by the videos I saw and I was proven right... It's the most perfect thing I've encountered in terms of music composition with an excellent combat system... It's not so much the graphics that are spectacular, but the art style that delivers lessons... Its music is on another level... The only flaw is the story, which is somewhat predictable without any major plot twists, and the management of the kingdom that requires real-time completion of researches... In conclusion, buy it, it's a great little gem that unfortunately doesn't have the publicity it deserves, you will be amazed by the game...
Well
I start with the positives of the game:
+Great story
+Amazing soundtrack (by the same composer as Spirited Away!)
+Perfect graphics
+60 FPS with very good performance
+Very well-made without annoying bugs
Negatives
-After the first 3 hours, the game gradually becomes very repetitive, which makes it hard to keep playing...
-Incredibly easy game without a difficulty option, which becomes boring after a while
(Imagine in the PC version they released a mod to increase the difficulty...)
(It reminds me of the easiness of Dynasty Warriors where enemies come at you in a copy-paste manner without substance...)
-There could be more variety in opponents...
-Very few cutscenes and the worst part is that in most dialogues you just spam the X button since it only shows subtitles without sound and video...
The reason I give it 3 stars is simply because the game becomes excessively boring with its repetitive gameplay after a while... It's a shame, I expected much better...
At the current price of 50 euros, I don't think it's worth it, only if you find it for around 30 euros...
A game that you will love from the first minutes, to begin with, I have to say that its graphics are fantastic, of course, the art style contributes to this and the result is fantastic. The gameplay is much better than the first Ni no Kuni and it includes many things to tweak and experiment with to tailor the gameplay to your liking. The world is big and beautiful, and overall the atmosphere is unique. In other words, it is a fantastic game, the only mediocre aspect, in my opinion, is the story, which is not bad, just average
