The Algerian War (1954-1962) is one of the key moments of the long-lasting colonial revolution that marks the 20th century. The struggle of the Algerians against French colonialism is fought simultaneously on two fronts: within their own country and in the heart of the colonial metropolis, France itself. It is a fight that creates many enemies but also attracts supporters from around the world. The difficulties encountered by the Algerians are countless; when the French secret services dismantle the international networks from which the Algerian liberation army was obtaining weapons, the Fourth International, with Pablo as its secretary, decides to set up an illegal mechanism for the construction of weapons factories in Morocco. Dimitris Livieratos is tasked with coordinating and carrying out this risky operation, under the nose of De Gaulle's secret services. A group of about four hundred people - Algerians, Europeans, Latin Americans, and others - managed, by working hard for months in conditions of secrecy and risk, to reconcile their different cultures in this incredible experience of producing the "legendary PM," the assault rifle of the Algerian Revolution.
