  2 thermostats were installed in the summer. With minimal use, one of them broke in 3 months. I have made countless calls to the dealership, but still no solution. I am waiting for the second one to break before the end of the first winter. Money wasted and a lot of it.

  Replaced the old (digital) thermostat for radiators and boiler. In a few words: More accurate in its measurements, with humidity and air quality measurement resulting in fewer boiler starts. Also, yes, after a month of use, its algorithm adjusts it to heating needs with economy in mind. Quite a smart and advanced product.

  I have three RDS110. Nothing special for their price. Bad and slow application that forces you to enter each thermostat separately to see temperatures. They do not provide the API for integration into automation programs like home assistant.

  I bought 2 thermostats in August 2021. The first one had a problem with temperature calibration from the beginning, while the second one worked fine. Also, the first one has lost its air quality sensor for the past 2 months, and now the second one is also facing issues as it shows orange or red levels for a week even when we are not home. They are useless in well-insulated houses with underfloor heating. They cannot handle the large inertia of the space. When the thermostat closes and loses 0.5-1 degree after more than 10 hours, all the water in the underfloor heating system becomes cold, and the boiler needs to work for many hours as if you were turning on the underfloor heating for the first time (I am exaggerating a bit, but it's something like that).

  Update: Siemens probably knew about the sensor issue because as soon as I told them what was happening, they replaced both of them without even checking them. There was a problem with a recent software update that rendered the sensors useless. The 2 new ones I received showed inaccurate readings as soon as I installed them. With the house open all night in a sparsely populated area, when I closed the windows, the indicator turned orange and red within 1-2 hours. I informed Siemens, and even though I explained that everything was working fine with the first ones for the first few months, the support representative initially tried to convince me that the new thermostats couldn't be the problem and that she couldn't know the conditions of my house (one of them is in a baby's bedroom). With great difficulty, she agreed to let me return them, but that wouldn't solve anything. Finally, I searched and found a new software update. I updated the software with the latest version I found on climatix.com (Siemens), and for a few hours now, they seem to be working correctly.

  Update 18.07.2022: Although I was hoping for some calibration or change, nothing happened. Both new thermostats, even if you have the windows open all day, turn red within 1-2 hours after closing the windows, even without anyone present in the house. I should note that one of them is installed in a child's room where a 3-year-old sleeps, not in the kitchen or a busy area with high activity and pollutants. It's a waste of money! It's a shame for Siemens.

  Excellent thermostat. I have seen real savings since I installed it compared to the old analog thermostat and manual temperature changes.

  It has excellent accuracy in measuring the room temperature, even though it is installed in the warmest room of the house, it performs very well in the times it activates the boiler. I wish I had installed the RDS-110R though, which is identical but adds an additional wireless thermostat in any room you want, which serves better.

  It was chosen because it has independent boiler operation. I travel frequently and this is the #1 function I needed, hot water on demand (house without solar).

  I have identified two negatives related to the app, and for this reason I am deducting a star.
  First, for manual boiler activation, there is no timer function. Either you remember to turn it off, or it will operate indefinitely. This MUST be fixed. It is a safety issue.
  And secondly, it does not support Google Assistant/Alexa.

  After 4 months of use, the air quality signal was lost and the mobile displays it as an undefined air quality, which means that the sensor burned out. It's definitely not worth 200€, Siemens has taken many steps back with this thermostat. It was fine with the analog, why did it need the evolution?   UNACCEPTABLE for such an expensive device!!!
  I have had the thermostat since November 2021. After 3 weeks of smooth operation, it stopped communicating with the app. It has been 3-4 days now. The Wi-Fi in the house, which is connected, works perfectly with all other devices. While the thermostat "sees" the home network and connects to it, the app sees it as offline!!! The strange thing is that when I connect with the hotspot from my mobile, the app sees it normally! I have also checked with Cosmote on the router and there is no problem from there.
  Also, the automatic learning function never worked even though I followed the instructions I received from Siemens.
  I paid €194 for the device to have connectivity with the mobile app. I could have done my job with less than half the price (without Wi-Fi connectivity).
  Manuals are nonexistent (I had to speak to Siemens customer care to get extra instructions for the initial installation - I switched from analog to this one).
  Better choose another thermostat.

  ---------> Update 17/12/2021: After contacting Siemens and waiting for a few days, I was informed that the communication interruption with the app was due to a cloud upgrade. The problem continued for a few more days and then was resolved. Since yesterday, it communicates normally with the app. After this, I changed my rating from 1 star to 3.

  ---------> Update 13/06/2022: The connectivity issue with the app reappeared around March. Since then, I haven't "seen" it through the mobile app and have been operating it through the screen. I spoke with OTE 2-3 times in case the router was the problem, and when I lost all hope on 21/4, I tried to contact Siemens one last time before getting another one. To my surprise, Siemens offered to replace it, and even on the same day, at the store where I bought it with the receipt. Since then, it has been working perfectly.
  My rating remains at 3 because it could have saved me from all this trouble and replaced it from the beginning.

  At first, there was a problem with the temperature and humidity measurements. I contacted Siemens and they provided me with a solution. In the advanced settings, there is a possibility of calibration, so the problem was corrected. The strange thing is that although the temperature and humidity sensors are supposed to be separate, by calibrating the temperature, the humidity measurement was also corrected. The relay can be heard when the boiler opens and closes, but not in an annoying location. Also, I do not have the ability to adjust the hot water usage from the thermostat, maybe I did not set it up correctly initially, but it is not something that bothers me constantly, so I did not investigate further. Finally, I really appreciate the ability of remote management of the boiler.

  Good screen response, excellent mobile application.
  Difficulty in installation if you want hot water - lacking instructions even for an electrician! If you want to remove it to see something with the cables in the relays, you will have to say a prayer! Fake construction! Expensive and definitely wouldn't buy it again! If this one breaks now, I wouldn't spend a euro on it again.. Just a simple and final thought...

  I am writing a review on the second installation I did with this thermostat. First in my vacation home in February 2018 and now in my main house.
  If I were to write a review on the first purchase, I would barely give it 1 star. The application was crashing, freezing in different time zones, resulting in it opening and closing whenever it wanted. So basically, only the remote start function was working. Additionally, it requires a neutral wire for installation, not the typical two-wire cable that thermostats have. Something they didn't know when they were selling it, and I had to dig into the wall to bring a neutral wire close to it.
  After some upgrades that were made, however, it doesn't crash at all. It shows usage statistics (which it didn't show before) and you have a complete picture of consumption and performance of the radiator. It is a huge convenience to have the three temperature scenarios when you are at home, and when you are away. Practically, if you program it correctly according to your needs, you don't have to deal with it again. To the point where you forget that you have a thermostat. You have your house at the temperature you want whether you are sleeping, inside, or away. The only intervention you make from your mobile is when you do something different from your routine.

In theory, it is very good but difficult to understand. The application works very well, as well as the programming through it.   Let's start with the basics.
  1. The thermostat is not that simple to install. If you had a Siemens thermostat from the classic ones that most people have, then there are manuals that are quite informative on how to make the new connection. I would recommend having a technician or someone knowledgeable in installations install it.
  2. It seems to be of very good quality and sturdy so far.
  3. It is very aesthetically pleasing, looks very premium, and has a minimal design.
  4. The touch screen is fast, responsive, with good lighting and clarity.
  5. The automatic functions require some familiarity and time to set up. You need to read the icons in the manual to learn what they mean and what each one does.
  6. The manual mode is relatively simple once you get familiar with the thermostat.
  7. The app works quite well, it is fast and has not frozen so far. It allows you to see room temperatures, turn on and off remotely, and also provides statistics on how many hours it has worked each day, etc.
  8. The app has 3 programmed programs with different temperatures for setting a weekly heating program, which you can set as you wish, something that is relatively easy for an advanced user.
  9. The big downside for me is that the app is somewhat lacking in features, although it has the essentials. I hope they will enrich it in future updates.
  In conclusion, the thermostat is quite expensive (around 190 euros today), it is not aimed at ordinary users who are not familiar enough with technology, and it is definitely not value for money. However, it is a very high-quality tool from a big company in this field, and its price is close to the competition. Its durability over time will determine if it is really worth its money because it is a very important factor for a room thermostat.

  I enter the process to evaluate only because if someone asks for a simple gadget to remotely control the boiler, they definitely pay a high price for it. But if we ask for a truly smart thermostat, then this Siemens one is the one.
  A top-notch professional thermostat with PID self-adaptive algorithm function that learns how quickly the space heats up after a command is given and how quickly it cools down by automatically flashing its operation earlier than the selected temperature, making serious savings. With a presence sensor that detects our presence in the space, automatically raising and lowering the temperature according to the situation. With a fine particle sensor that informs us when the space needs to be ventilated or ionized due to a high percentage of dust.
  For simple on-off commands, get a Chinese one because this one is several levels above!
  I describe it as a top-notch technician!

  Kids everything is fine but it has one disadvantage....the thermostat does not have a battery so in the summer if the power goes out from the boiler (e.g. if you live in an apartment building) you don't have a screen because it doesn't have power....so the temperature and humidity indication does not work.
