It is a fact that in recent years there have been significant changes in the programming and management of projects. Both the size of projects and the size of construction companies have increased significantly, while new methods of financing and controlling projects and businesses have been introduced (co-financing, leasing, quality management). These changes require the use of new scientific methods and techniques in project programming and problem management, as well as objective evaluation of the factors that create the problems. Nowadays, project organization cannot rely solely on the intuition and experience of managers.

The growth of construction companies has led to their differentiation and decentralization of their activities, as well as a decrease in "centralization" in decision-making. The formation of construction companies has become more complex, and their activities often need to be distributed among various entities within each business. This requires better coordination of actions and activities within the framework of the overall goal of maximizing the produced result.

The book covers basic topics of programming and organization of technical projects. It includes sixteen chapters that refer to basic elements of legislation on public works and its application in the construction process, the use of leasing methods in technical projects, co-financed projects, organization and management of construction sites, quality management, and the use of operational research methods in construction projects.
