The Chocola-Kouledakis editions, inaugurating the series "Anthology Notebooks", present an elegant box set, "Sundays in Winter", which contains a book of poems by the poets of the Interwar period, anthologized by Sotiris Trivizas, and a CD with poems of the same generation set to music by Dimitris Maramis.
Sotiris Trivizas anthologizes well-known poets of his generation, that generation whose low-voiced musical lament, full of elegance and gentle melancholy, continues to move us to this day. The following poets are anthologized: Tellos Agra, Minos Zotos, K. G. Karyotakis, George Kotzioulas, Napoleon Lapathiotis, Kostas Uranis, Mitsos Papanikolaou, Maria Polydouri, and Romos Filyras.
Dimitris Maramis, in the accompanying CD, presents the cycle of songs "Sundays in Winter". Six songs based on the poetry of K. G. Karyotakis, M. Polydouri, N. Lapathiotis, M. Papanikolaou, T. Agra, and performed by the young singer Konstantinos Kleronomos.
This is a continuation of the collaboration between Dimitris Maramis and Sotiris Trivizas, following the book-CD "Sonnet of Dark Love" based on the poetry of Federico Garcia Lorca.
