"Life goes on and we greet its birds that hate each other," wrote Elytis. The times have matured, so today we are not only talking about real narrative "environments", but also about narrative storytelling, about the narrator and everything related to a narrative text. This perspective, which has not been adequately presented in Greek children's and young adult literature until now, is provided by this volume, while also serving as a stimulus for further studies. We are now ready to transition from storytelling for adults to storytelling for children and teenagers, both in study and in teaching children's and young adult narrative texts or even literary works in diary, epistolary, or (auto)biographical form. The characters and personalities, as well as the transformations of the narrator, the narrative voices or different focuses, the limitations and possibilities of first-person narration, and the impressions of the narrator's consciousness are traced in this volume - a challenge for new readings of children's and young adult literature.
