Illuminated keys and screen
The illuminated critical buttons on the joystick and throttle allow you to know where to press when time is essential. Dual Spring Centering Mechanism

A good starting joystick in the entry-level category. The build quality is average considering the price of an all-around sim. It could be a good value for money if its price was around 120-150 euros.
Owner since 2018 and still playing Elite Dangerous, the stick just broke... When I push it forward, the lights turn off and it doesn't execute the command... Such a shame... After 4 years to break like this, without much wear and tear. I bought it back then for 140€... No, I can't say it paid for itself.
Very nice everything that users say and I agree with them. However, I didn't read anywhere about the X and Y axes of the throttle that constantly give a signal (spiking) which can be observed in the control panel -> game controller settings in the tab with the axis display. There you will see these axes moving right-left without touching the potentiometer. This results in the computer not being able to enter idle state (it's like someone continuously pressing a button on the keyboard). So, no screensaver, no monitor sleep, no PC sleep. Also, any processes scheduled to run during computer idle time, such as SSD trim, will never be executed. Unacceptable for a peripheral purchase of 180-190€. Edit 1/11/2023: this issue is known to Logitech and all they do is offer replacements because it cannot be fixed. So, if you want an additional joystick for free, contact the company within the warranty period. That's how I accept it
About half a month of owning DCS. I have two negatives to highlight, which may be specific to this particular piece. The button on the joystick for bombs (under the red cover) shakes when turned on at certain angles [Resolved on its own as I opened and closed the cover]. On the thrust handle, one of the two rotating knobs (which I use for zoom in/out) shakes the zoom in certain positions [Resolved with software intervention]. Otherwise, it has a large number of buttons, and with the 3+3 Modes (which can be expanded using switches and clutches for combinations), it becomes quite complex if needed. I already have trouble remembering half of the buttons in one Mode out of the initial 3, but I believe it will become much easier with use. Unfortunately, especially in simulation games, some kind of tracking or VR is needed for a better gaming experience. I got the Tobii 5 for this, but I'm not 100% satisfied, so I recommend the TrackIR 5 instead.
Update: 8-9-2022
Regarding the two previous negatives, I have to note that the shaking button is a problem with the joystick, which resolved on its own. As for the second issue (zoom in/out), the problem appears in all rotating knobs due to minor fluctuations in the current and is caused by the materials used. It seems to occur in all x52 controllers, while other more expensive ones don't seem to have this specific problem. Overall, I am satisfied, but from what I see on YouTube, other DCS players handle it more smoothly than me, maybe due to experience or better controllers.
Update: 4-1-2023
A few days ago, I submitted a warranty claim for the aforementioned issues. Although the Greek store where I purchased it refused to replace it, despite the recommendation from Logitech to replace the faulty package, Logitech itself sent me a new piece, which I received yesterday. My impressions are that both controllers function the same!

While I have solved all the problems months ago, I forgot to update the review. The issues with current fluctuations (shaking in the control panel) were resolved with software intervention, specifically by filtering the fluctuations to prevent them from appearing during operation. Now the experience is as it should be. I also fixed the Tobii Eye 5 to track correctly with other programs and motion filters, and now everything is in place. Yes, it took a lot of effort, I agree. The companies' programs are terrible, and the support is awful, as well as the nature of specialized interventions. But... now everything works correctly, with enough research, experimentation, and frustration.
It's worth every euro and you realize it more and more over time!! Flawless in its movements, fully adjustable, high-quality construction, a multitude of functions, even color-changing LEDs, and a multitude of easy configurations with buttons (with the 6 modes, it can be over 150!!!). It makes you fall in love with the games you play again!!
When I bought it, it was still called Saitek! It's a beast! It's worth every penny and more. I would have expected the price to drop after 10+ years, but it seems that as long as people prefer it, it will remain at this cost.
After 10 years, it still works fine with small issues like the buttons on the throttle losing their accuracy and the joystick mouse doing whatever it wants, so I disabled it. Despite being disappointed in the first 2 years with the service, as I mentioned in my review of the Mad Catz X52 Pro Flight System (PC) back then, it still works perfectly in terms of handling accuracy, although I use it less now due to obligations. What is unacceptable is its price, which is sky-high. I bought it 10 years ago for 137 euros as a Saitek back then.
