Once upon a time, there was a grandmother who never let her fire go out. But when her life extinguished, the fire left the hearth to wander, looking with the eye of a cat, listening with the ear of a dog, and flying with the wings of an owl. One day, the little flame, restored now, reached the root of an oak tree. To comfort her, the grandmother began telling her stories.
