A reliable irrigation programmer with easy installation on the network without leaks. The menu is very easy to use, as long as one reads the Greek manual. I believe it is the only programmer at this price that has a solenoid valve and a delay button.
I read reviews...almost excellent...I see it in the pictures...something doesn't fit...I think it's just me...I take it in my hands...cheap plastic quality...it was never programmed...good customer service from the company...the employee seemed overwhelmed with complaints...he suggests a trick to make it work...otherwise he abruptly tells me "send it back, it has a problem"...I send it back with a refund request...it took a month to finish the job...25€ for this product...oh no...!!!
The product turned out to be extremely disappointing and dangerous. It broke during my summer vacation, resulting in water running everywhere, causing great disruption and damage. Its quality is poor at the connection joint with the faucet, and it is not suitable for the advertised use. Based on the comments of other users, it seems to be a low-quality product that is dangerous for the intended use.
I have been using them for over 3 years, and I have already bought 3. They are in an outdoor environment so they endure rain and sun, and despite that, they have not been damaged at all. I wanted an electric valve for this reason and something more economical than Gardena. I have not encountered any problems, it is easy and you can program it whenever you want and after 1 hour and 2 and as many as you want as long as you read the instructions.
Very good and high-quality. The only thing you need to do is to change all the springs it has from its mother because they are hard and sometimes they don't fit well. If you put new ones, it's fine. I was away for 12 days and it worked reliably. I recommend it to those who are looking for something similar.
I have been using it for 4 years without any problems.
Easy programming.
WARNING: The connection record with the faucet broke and caused significant damage. The damaged component cannot be detached from the machine.
That's why the rating is average.
programming easy, but restricted. Irrigation period starts after the specified time period. If 12 hours irrigation period are chosen, the irrigation starts after 12 hours and then periodicly.
It turned out good, it's the second year I've been using it.
And to set it on a program, it is programmed only from the moment you program it, it waters after 2 hours.
If there is a problem, it is located in the fluctuating water pressure that at some point damages "something" inside the machine. And there is the risk of either the water running uncontrollably or sealing and not running water at the scheduled time.
A product with good value for money but expensive shipping. Very easy to install, program, and operate. The only downside is the startup time, if you want to water, for example, at 10 o'clock, you have to wait for it to reach 10 and then activate it.
I installed it by programming it. At first, I didn't notice (but after a few days) that it has a small leak (small drops) from the body of the programmer. However, since it is under warranty, please kindly instruct me on the procedure I should follow for its replacement.
I ordered it because I saw good reviews, but I have to mention the problems I encountered, regarding the electronic part of the programming, no problem, the hydraulic part was sufficient, and they had to do with water leaks under pressure from the water supply network, it was losing water from the water connection connectors, this was restored using silicone on the threads, and then I discovered a water leak from the body of the solenoid valve, as shown in the photo, it had a crack, and this was restored with epoxy plastic and silicone on top for quick curing. I installed it on my network in my garden and it is now working properly without water leaks, and we can see. Note that the water input-output connection is reversed from the new one, it is an assembly issue, but this is not a problem and does not bother me...
I have it x4! It has been working very well for me for two years now, and so far it is the best compared to others I have purchased because it is simply reliable! Now, if we get it and it doesn't work from the beginning, that happens by chance with all devices. I have them in a half-acre garden and I am satisfied
For the money, it's very good.
Its programming is very easy.
The only peculiarity it has is that from the moment you program it (e.g. 5 minutes every 12 hours), it will start working in 12 hours.
So whoever wants to water at that moment puts it on reset and then turns it to the desired frequency and it's ready.
Difficult to program and very unreadable.....
There are much better options at the same price as this
I have it for three years, it works reliably, we always need to make sure that the battery is fresh when we leave the house.
After 9 months of use, I have to say that for the money, it is flawless! I programmed it to open every two days and during this whole period, it had no issues and I didn't even have to change the battery!
I bought three programmers, I took one for service within the warranty, I threw away the other two because the solenoid valve wouldn't open, I only have one that works. Only the electronic part works well, but the solenoid valve refuses to open when commanded
I bought the first one and it never opened, I returned it and they gave me another one. The truth is that I bought it again with a heavy heart. The second one never closed. Unreliable machine. Unfortunately, I made a mistake. Don't be fooled by the fact that it is the best-selling one. Big failure.
The most useless thing in the program is Ampax and if you add the delay, the programs don't come out at all. It doesn't take the programs, not even close. Go for the official products like Gardena, Orbit, Hunter, and Rain Bird. It doesn't work
Since it was the only one with the most reviews, I decided to trust it, so I bought it from a store on the list, I went home and tried to assemble it in vain, but it was broken. I took it back the same day, and instead of replacing it, they told me they would keep it. Anyway, since I needed an automatic sprinkler, I had to buy another one. I thought maybe it was just bad luck, so I decided to buy the same one from another store on the list, and the same thing happened again. I took it back the same day, and they said they would keep it to examine it. So, two out of two were defective. Is it bad luck? I don't think so.
The second year I have it and I bought a second one. Reliable product and it has endured rain and snow and it did not break
At first glance, it looks good. A big advantage is the solenoid valve and the delay time. Easy installation and easy programming. It could have better build quality though. Only time will tell. However, for its price, I think it is the right choice.
The installation of the battery is quite difficult. The cover needs to be removed and two very small screws need to be unscrewed. In other machines, this is done much more easily. (Of course, this is something that will be done only a few times). Additionally, it requires a 9V rectangular battery which is costly and expensive, both in rechargeable and non-rechargeable versions. UNFORTUNATELY, IT STOPPED WORKING AFTER ONE MONTH.
It does the job it claims. However, the screws of the battery case will definitely wear out after a few battery changes.
May the children who write the comments be well. Very good in everything, cheap, reliable, and most importantly, with an electric valve, worth every penny.
Despite the name that refers to Germany, the construction is Chinese. Impossible to program it correctly. Completely unreliable in its operation. You program it to water for five minutes, it doesn't work, and when you turn the switch back, it starts watering when it reaches the 25-minute position. Money wasted, I bought another Gardena to have peace of mind.
Very good and user-friendly. It doesn't leak, its valve is perfect. The face also comes off with the battery if you don't use it, so you can simply open the faucet and water
2 months of use and so far everything is good. The only negative is that there is a small water loss from the connection to the faucet (without having any tremendous network pressure). Honest for its price.
2 years later and after removing the (only) battery I have installed for the winter. It still works the same.
Overall, it seems to be a quality construction and very easy to program. The only annoying thing is that it requires a small screwdriver to open two screws that secure the waterproof battery compartment.
I bought 3 and have been using them for two months now and everything works perfectly. I will come back if needed.
Update 17/7/2021 they work perfectly and of course I am very satisfied.
Update 24/11/22 they work perfectly.
