Description

The Ibanez GRX70QA electric guitar is aimed at musicians and guitarists of all levels, from beginners to advanced. It is a versatile guitar that can be used in many different genres of music, such as rock, metal, blues, and jazz.

HSH Pickup Configuration (Humbucker-Single Coil-Humbucker)

In the HSH pickup configuration, there are two single-coil pickups in the bridge and neck positions, as well as a humbucker pickup in the middle. This setup offers a wide variety of sounds for the guitarist.

The single-coil pickup in the bridge position offers a clean, clear sound that is ideal for speed and playing at high frequencies.

The single-coil pickup in the neck position provides a warmer, fuller sound that is better for playing at lower frequencies, while the middle humbucker pickup offers a balanced sound that is perfect for rhythm playing and solos.

Additionally, Ibanez pickups are passive and do not require external power to operate. Specifically, passive pickups work using magnetism and produce a signal that is inversely proportional to the movement of the strings.

Neck construction from Maple wood

The Maple wood used in the neck is an important element for the guitar's acoustics, as it produces a bright and precise tone resulting from the wood's hardness.

Body construction from Poplar wood

The Poplar wood used in the guitar's body offers a balanced sound with an emphasis on the mid and low frequencies, performing well even in more intense playing.

Classic ST Body Shape

The ST body shape it features follows the lines of one of the most widespread electric guitars, like the Stratocaster. Its design has a double-cut body for access to the highest frets and an extended "horn" on the upper side that offers perfect balance during upright playing.

With a wide range of supporters, including Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Holly, David Gilmour, and Jeff Beck, it is clear that the ST Style shape can handle virtually any musical style.

Fretboard made of durable Jatoba wood

The fretboard of the GRX70QA has 22 frets and is made of Jatoba wood, which has a relatively high degree of hardness and durability. It features a reddish-brown color and produces a balanced, rich sound in the low and mid frequencies.

T106 tremolo bridge

The T106 tremolo bridge with 6 independent saddles makes it easy to precisely adjust the height and intonation of each string.

This review is about the colour: Blue

This guitar is suitable for both beginners and experienced players. The sound is rich and it comes in a very beautiful color. It comes with its own tremolo bar and it is a pleasant experience to play this guitar. The only negative aspect is that it is slightly heavier than other guitars.
