Double Canvas

The tent contains 2 separate canvases, which are placed one on top of the other on the roof or upper part of it.

Usually, the first canvas has waterproofing, while the second one is a canvas that allows the passage of air and provides better ventilation in the tent.

Fiberglass Frame

The fiberglass frame is a common choice for constructing camping tents. It is a lightweight and durable material, made from fiberglass fibers that are usually coated with polyester to protect them from water and moisture.

Fiberglass is flexible, allowing the frame to be lightweight and flexible to support the tent fabric.

Blackout Room

In the tent there is the BlackOut Bedroom system by Coleman, where the entire interior of the tent room is black.

This means that you can sleep even if the sun is out or not be bothered by the lights of the camping at night. Additionally, the black interior keeps the tent slightly cooler in the summer, as it does not allow the sun's rays to pass through to the interior of the tent.

Construction

The room has dimensions of 210 x 140 cm, which is exactly 70 cm width per person.

The outer and inner cover of the tent is made of polyester 185T 68D and has undergone special treatment with flame retardants for added safety.

The spacious vestibule is very practical and can comfortably fit your shoes and many other items from your equipment.

The vestibule features semi-transparent windows on the sides that allow light to pass through, which have curtains if you want to completely close them.

The floor of the tent is made of strong PE (polyethylene), with a density of 120 g/m².

The seams on the cover and floor are waterproofed for maximum durability and waterproofness.

Inside the tent, there are side storage pockets for small items, and overall the tent has 2 vents that ensure better ventilation and reduce condensation: 1 vent in the room and 1 adjustable vent in the door.

What does the waterproof rating indicate in camping tents?

The waterproofing in a tent shows us how much water its exterior fabric can repel. It is measured in millimeters (mm) and refers to how many millimeters of vertical water column (and therefore pressure) a square centimeter of fabric can withstand without being penetrated by water.

The higher the degree of waterproofing, the less breathable the fabric is and therefore the warmer the tent. The widely used values for waterproofing range from 500mm to 10000mm. In theory, any fabric with waterproofing >1000mm is considered waterproof. For example, a summer tent can have waterproofing ranging from 500 to 1500mm.

What do the characteristics Polyester 190T and 210D mean?

They are indicators of the durability comparison of two fabrics made from the same material

Thread means the number of vertical and horizontal fibers in a square inch of fabric (see photo). The larger the Thread, the denser the weave and the stronger the fabric.

Denier is a unit of measurement for the thickness of a thread. A small denier means a thin fiber, while a larger denier means a thicker, more durable fiber. To calculate the Denier of a polyester fiber, a piece of length 9,000 m is weighed, and the resulting grams are the Denier of the fiber. Therefore, if a 9,000 m length of polyester fiber weighs 210 grams, then its Denier is 210.
