"Tsotsyia" is the story of a fearful woman from the Holy Forty, Katerina, who came when the borders opened and found herself married to a brutal man. Katerina secretly gives birth to a special girl and hides her from the world. In "Tsotsyia," raw realism merges with the free flight of imagination. Instead of the language of psychology, the narration here borrows the language of traditional fairy tales, a language that is harsh and poetic, "visceral."

The novella "Ohm," like "Tsotsyia," is drawn from the depths of myth. Forty thousand years ago, a wounded hunter struggles to survive alone in a cave, in the winter, and captures his struggle, his battle with animals and hunger, through paintings on the rock. Through the character of Ohm, the narration explores the genesis of art, the genesis of metaphysical thought, the core of all those things that ultimately make man human - but "Ohm" remains a pure adventure at the same time.
