A role-playing game of dark fantasy and adventure. It is divided into two phases:
1) exploration on the map and
2) tactical battles on a variety of different boards.
The main mechanism of the game is dice, with which you attack, use special abilities, and discover what lurks in your explorations.
The rules are of moderate difficulty. There are several things you need to remember and calculate in order for the game to flow quickly and correctly, especially during battles. However, it is also fun, thematic, and has a rich story waiting to unfold.
Folklore: The Affliction has two additional expansions that continue the story, as well as a kit that provides you with all the necessary elements and knowledge to create your own adventures.
