With reference to the statements of the President of the Republic about the "Minotaur of Neoliberalism" and the efforts of the Prime Minister and the Left's spokespersons to blame the country's economic impasse on a fictional conspiracy of free markets and international capitalism, the author explains that the exclusive responsible for the Greek bankruptcy is the interventionist Left and Right statism. It has led the country to its current impasse and, by caring only for the salvation of the public sector, it impoverishes the Greeks through the destruction of the private sector of the economy.

In order not to disturb the guilds of the public sector, Greek society is burdened with taxes and the market is dismantled. Wealth is no longer produced and there is no prospect for the future. Only neoliberal solutions, which support the market and not businesses, will lead us away from the current dark impasse:
- Drastic reduction of taxes.
- Abolition of public interventions in the market and the thousands of regulations that stifle its function.
- Massive restriction and abolition of public organizations and bodies that have sprung up everywhere like mushrooms and suffocate free entrepreneurial activity, wasting resources that citizens earn with difficulty.
- Enforcement of strict and unconditional rules of absolute and healthy competition.
- Extensive privatizations that will dramatically limit the state's entrepreneurial activity, reduce public spending, and increase its revenues.
- The consequent disappearance of a large part of the state bureaucracy that undermines development as well as the efforts of young people.
- Ensuring social care for those who TRULY need it, as long as money is no longer wasted unnecessarily.

It is worth for the Greeks to understand what Neoliberalism really is, which has been so demonized in order to cover the aspirations of those who milk the public sector of the economy.
