... This anthology of 214 Cretan poets aims to be more representative and much less strict in its choices. This makes it possible to read poets who have been unknown or less known until now, due to their publicity or their ethics, alongside well-known poets who coexist here with so many compatriots of theirs.
A useful book for future researchers and anthologists of Cretan poetry.
