I have been buying this mask for years, at least 4 years. This specific mask was my favorite by far because of how thick it was and how hydrated and smooth it left my damaged ends from bleaching. A few months ago, they replaced it with an "upgraded" one that is basically just water. I was really disappointed, to tell you the truth. I still continue to use the shampoo and conditioner because I am addicted to this scent, but it's not the same :'(

It smells really nice, it's one of my favorite masks from the company. For my hair type, which is definitely rebellious with tendencies of dryness, I see that it works really well, moisturizes, takes care of it, doesn't weigh down my hair, and I can easily comb it afterwards. It is quite fluid and doesn't require a large amount for each use.

It is very thick, spreads difficultly, and weighs my hair down a lot. If you have fine oily hair, stay away from this one.

I have dehydrated hair and thick strands. Previously, they were mainly damaged from the use of heat and some chemical treatments (dyes). Now they are natural. Out of all the masks I have tried so far from Garnier's botanic therapy line, it is by far the best for my hair type. It does not make my hair oily, it leaves it light and soft, and it helps with styling. I prefer its scent for winter.

I did not notice any improvement in my hair. Although it made my hair soft after showering, it did not leave any further result. Perhaps the mask works better on hair that has not undergone chemical processing.

Perhaps my rating is a bit unfair because this specific mask is targeted towards damaged (from chemical treatments or heat) hair. I have never mistreated my hair in any way, but it is dry and very frizzy. The oil in this mask is heavy and is not absorbed by low porosity hair (which means that the hair cuticles have not opened, so the hair needs light oils that are easily absorbed and penetrate deeply into the hair, such as argan oil, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, etc.). Damaged hair has open hair cuticles and needs heavy oils (olive oil, castor oil, shea butter, etc.) as well as proteins (keratin, etc.) because it easily absorbs moisture unlike non-damaged hair, but also loses it just as easily, which is why it needs heavy moisturizing ingredients. This mask did not work for me, it did absolutely nothing. However, if you have damaged hair, it might do the trick.

For the price I got it, it was worth it and more. I leave it on my hair for a quarter and wrap it with a membrane, like all masks. In the end, I always use conditioner and cold water, and the result is fantastic.

The only good thing is that it has a perfect scent that lasts, especially if you also use the leave-in cream, but it doesn't soften or moisturize the hair as much compared to other masks in its category. I fell for it because of some bloggers who praised it, unfortunately...
