Twelve stories with heroes from the Ionian Islands, with true events but immersed in lies, trying to hide the truth.

The heroes are real when the stories are fake, and fake when they are true. Except for one, for which there are reasonable suspicions that everything is true. What is certain, however, is that they were written to entertain a group of Ionians who gathered in Athens after the disasters:
the earthquake, the war, work, marriage, and they gather on Saturdays to experience the illusion of the continuity of the Ionian culture.

They were written, in other words, for what was proposed in the narration of "Chasi" many years ago, by that strange Zakynthian master, Dimitrios Gouzelis: "...for the entertainment of friends."
