No matter how well it does its job. After 3 months, it short-circuited and not only did it burn out, but it also burned my hand. Even though I requested a return of the item, the courier did not come on the date and time to pick it up...
At least shameful... it lasted 3 months and everything was fine until it started to produce liquid coffee and in the end it caught fire. UNACCEPTABLE. I later saw that this has happened to many people. DO NOT BUY IT
I bought it in September. Everything was fine, one could say it was the "perfect" hair straightener at first. After about 3 months, it started shutting off every 30 seconds while I was straightening my hair. And along with that, it would release steam and get all wet, which is dangerous for fire. And it's not that this particular product was defective, because we bought one for me and one for my sister, and both of them had the same issue at the same time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON PURPOSE!
Personally, I was not particularly satisfied with the result. It sprays water instead of steam at the beginning (this happened on the third use). To release steam, you have to forcefully close the press to press a button it has inside. Too much effort... I ended up using my old one. Also, you can't call it lightweight!
I ordered it for the third time! It is truly a value for money straightener that works for both straight and curly hair and the result lasts up to 3 days! One of my favorite products, always with heat protection!
Unacceptable, in 6 months it stopped working and they replaced it at the store where I bought it, and I only used it two more times and it stopped working again. Money wasted. Stay away
It is very good! I have it here for two years and it really gives amazing results. I highly recommend it even though it costs only 12€. Suitable for curls and straightening.
I bought it because my belissima steam broke and I wanted something to use until it gets serviced. If you don't have more money to spend on a better steam press, this one does its job and is at a very good price.
Read the instructions carefully. If you read them, the fuses in your house will probably not trip and it won't stay in your hand.
To prevent it from breaking:
Use only demineralized water. Empty it after use. Clean the plates after use, once they have cooled down.
Dry and detangle your hair, apply a heat protection product. Divide it into sections with clips and use a medium-sized tuft at a time.
Connect the plates before straightening the tuft, so that the steam button located between them can be pressed.
More than two, at most three passes at 180 degrees are not necessary to completely straighten the hair. If you have really curly and thick hair, increase the temperature, it has multiple temperatures to choose from based on your hair type.
If you have long hair, it will need refilling during styling.
Do not leave the press in one spot for a long time. Do not press the plates so hard that the hair breaks from pulling.
The result lasts until the next wash. The only difference from a more expensive press is in the plates. The plates of the belissima, for example, glide incredibly on their own, they are of great quality.
I still prefer the more expensive press, but this one helped me achieve the look I want for my hair when I couldn't have the other one. I recommend it only if you don't have the budget or if you want to try a steam press to see if you like the idea without spending too much.
I had two hair straighteners like this. The first one broke after some time (I considered it random), so I bought it again. And the second product stopped working after 7 months. It's better to spend a little more money and choose a different straightener.
Very bad product.
It damages the ends and breaks them at the end, "throws" water and drips, resulting in burning, it also smells bad and damages the hair terribly. The straightening it does is mediocre, as the plate is thick and if you leave it a second longer in the same spot, it breaks the hair and makes it wavy. It also leaves a mark at the root. Finally, it is heavy, resulting in slight pain in the hand after use. It's not worth the euro.
One star and that's it. Terrible build quality, used it twice and it short-circuited. I do not recommend it. There are much better options at the same price.
It is the best thing I have ever tried for my hair, it straightens in 5 minutes and makes the hair so soft, the hairstyle stays intact and even if you have your hair tied up, it doesn't break with a brush, it looks like you just came out of the hair salon! I honestly recommend everyone to get it, I was crazy about the steam pod and this really gives the same result! I will also recommend it to my hairdresser!
I bought this straightener about a month ago. I have straightened my hair, which is frizzy, exactly 3 times, 2 times with steam and 1 time without. All 3 times my hair became so greasy that I had to wash it! The straightening process is not particularly fast and it is not user-friendly due to its weight and size. Don't even think about buying it.
I bought this specific device some time ago, but I only managed to use it last Sunday! I have very curly hair and usually it takes me at least 45 minutes to straighten it with a hairdryer. With this straightener, it only took me 15-20 minutes, almost half the time. It heats up quickly, reaches a high temperature, and overall it is very user-friendly (I am completely "useless" when it comes to styling, but with this straightener, I managed just fine). Also, I had absolutely no issues with the water tank, it didn't leak at all (I filled it once and it was enough for my whole head). For its price, I highly recommend it.
I have curly hair that tends to frizz and has been damaged lately due to color changes. It straightens perfectly and quickly, and the result lasts. It doesn't leak water as I read in other reviews, and because I apply the steam pod cream from L'Oreal beforehand, my hair doesn't get damaged either.
I have had it for a year and a half. I bought it twice because the first one broke in a month. It straightens the hair relatively quickly and lasts, but it puts a lot of strain on the hair and after a year and a half it started throwing hot water at me. It's better to spend 30 euros more and get a better one...
I had it for about 2.5 years. I have very curly hair, it required many layers to straighten it completely. The straightening didn't last long, unless I used a product to help it. It broke for no reason, it suddenly shuts off when it starts to heat up. I don't know if I would recommend someone to buy it.
As soon as I turned it on for the first time, it burned out. I am waiting for a replacement and I hope it works and I don't have to throw away even the little it cost
Average to bad product. Besides the fact that it leaks, it doesn't straighten well and you feel like it immediately damages your hair. Overall, my hair suffered a lot from this straightener, but for 12 euros, what can you expect... crying over nothing, Panagiotena is good
For the price of 12 euros, it is very worth it for the hair. Previously, I had the recommended Remington straightener with keratin and compared to that one, it does almost the same job. Unfortunately, my Remington straightener broke over time, so I am waiting to see how long this one will last. As for the water, you can even put it on 0 steam, and it still works without water running. Even if it lasts only one year, I know it will have paid for itself
Generally, I'm not really into hair products, however, this one has been very convenient for me because it straightens my wet hair (mine is long and curly) - I'm sure if I used it correctly (because I'm lazy and it also takes time to use), the result would be professional!
My hair was straightened perfectly fine, and the water was running outside, but I never understood how the steam button works. Also, it burned while straightening my hair in my hands
The water was leaking out while I was using it and after a few uses, it didn't work properly, resulting in not keeping my hair straight. It was not worth it at all!
For these not even 12 euros, it does its job.. The bad thing is that it immediately frizzes the hair.. and that it loses its water.. gradually as you straighten it, it runs on your hands..
The worst thing I have ever used, and I have used several as a hairdresser!!!!!! After ten minutes, it shuts down on its own.... tragic straightening that doesn't hold.. personally, after about ten straightenings, it stopped working..... It's not even worth the ten euros it costs.
