It weighs 1280 grams. It is quite sturdy with nice adjustments and good materials.
However, it has a really loose connection between the head and the lifting plate. Where one would expect this connection to be strong, rigid, and serious (e.g. with a wedge or bolt fire, or a strong collar to tighten properly), they have simply placed the aluminum lifting plate to enter half a centimeter inside the plastic nest of the head, wedged (not even hooked) and it seems they have simply put a few drops of glue.
The second design flaw is that the lifting lever allows you to reduce the height much lower (about 2 cm) than it should.
The two mistakes above result in the first mishandling, the head simply popping out of this childish connection they have made and falling to the floor along with whatever it carries on it. From then on, the head never stands well on the tripod again, unless one starts patenting with drills, screws, etc.

It has a lever on the side that rotates (like a pulley lever) in order to raise the tripod neck. So we raised it and it just stayed there....raised forever since the lever didn't lower it back down because the mechanism inside broke. Drama.

- Long (Does not fit in my side backpack or underneath - you have to carry it with its bag, which is an extra item on your shoulder - something not so traveler-friendly) - at least in my case.
- 90 degrees (It is actually closer to 95, let's say, instead of 90 - something that can be adjusted by tightening the screw, and anyway you will edit it in post-processing)
- Hook (lack of a hook for better stability, especially if you have extended it to its maximum height)
- Head (If you raise the head to the maximum, it wobbles a lot to the point where there is no confidence. However, if you leave it in the middle, it improves)
- Not ideal for tabletop/vertical shots (for example, when digitizing film, I can only use it in the corner of the table, and even then, it is very limited)Conclusion (My own):
I bought this tripod to have one in my collection. I take a few long exposures, some landscape shots here and there, without going into much detail, it has served me well for a year now. The main drawback for me is its size, as I mentioned before, it is a bit long for travel use. The "negatives" are more quirks than anything bad. At the 25 euros I paid for it, I believe it is a great value for money for someone like me who uses it a maximum of 4 times a month. I have never used it in the rain, so I don't know about rust/salt issues, etc.
If you are looking for something that represents stable photography, do not hesitate to get it, really. Just like with cameras, you start with the cheap ones, learn, experiment, find what you want, and then upgrade. You will do the same with this tripod. Happy shooting!

The bag-case that it comes with has been very helpful for me during trips, as it is not only convenient to carry with its strap but also protects the tripod to a great extent. Small details like the level make it more useful, although I assume all cameras have a level on the viewfinder and the screen.

Translated from Greek ·Did you find this review helpful?I have had the tripod for a year and a half. At first I was satisfied as long as its use was simple and limited to indoor spaces. When I started using it more demanding and taking it with me outdoors and on trips, things changed.
It is lightweight and easy to use but not compact at all, having a minimum folded height of 55 centimeters. It does not fit in a carry-on without disassembling it. Its full height is quite satisfactory although I wouldn't say no to an extra 20 centimeters.
It looks sturdy but it is not. While the aluminum legs are quite sturdy on their own, the three arms that stabilize them on the central column have a lot of play, resulting in the tripod shaking quite a bit even with a light breeze.
The head is stable and has smooth movement only during 360-degree panning. The up and down movement and the transition from horizontal to vertical shooting are far from stable, smooth, and accurate. I think it's because of the plastic head and levers, which are quite soft and "squeak" under the weight of the camera even if the latter weighs less than half of what the tripod can supposedly support according to specifications. Especially after a few uses in the sun, it's as if they have loosened forever.
The quick release plate detaches easily as it should when the camera is attached, but it only goes back in place after some effort. I assume it's also due to the quality of the plastics.
