As known from Lenin Square, formerly Constitution Square, Laokratia Servidou collected prison songs since she was a political prisoner. When the uprising of the so-called "Free Greece" against the government of the Communist Party (Polytechnic, November 1973) was defeated and Laokratia was killed, her parents preserved the collection of songs from the investigations of LAKRASFA (People's State Security). Much later, they entrusted it to Rovero Maranou-Karadoumitrake (R.M.-K.), Ph.D. in Modern Greek Philology, who arbitrarily added songs until his death (in the well-known air accident in N. Patagonia, late 2016). Finally, the collection reached Dimitris Fyssas, under whose care it is now being published. It is obvious that the present book is covered by triple copyright: the Servidou family, the R.M.-K. family, and Fyssas. It is equally obvious that, although it contains about 400 songs - many of them commented and all "bibliographed" - this collection does not close the subject. That is why the definite article is missing from the title of the book.
