Update 20/9/2024 (5 years later): One whisk broke where a piece crosses. I was to blame for this because I used hard dough and obviously stressed it and it broke. We need to be careful, guys, about what we put inside; not everything is suitable for everything.

Update 5/1/2024 (5 years later): The mixer is still going strong, it makes a slight sound as if it needs lubrication on the gears but it’s just like the first day and nothing has broken either externally or in performance.

A remarkable and quality product. I got it to make mixtures for cookies, cakes, and butter from cream! Yes, what you heard, look for it. So, regarding the product in detail:
- The 4 sides (which form a cross X) of the whisks (that’s why I got it) are "integrated" into the axis they rotate on and all 4 sides of each whisk are rectangular. With this design, air gets into the mixtures much faster. Other mixers, if you notice the whisks, the cross has 4 elongated thin rods that rotate (not parallel sides like this one) which introduce less air per minute. This is due to the small surface area of the rod they whisk with and also they detach & break more easily due to their poor construction. I had 2 such mixers and the rods detached for the reasons I mentioned. It’s as if they have been glued with cheap glue. While in this product, the whisk has a solid body.
- Sturdy construction, super good quality for such a low price (23 euros).
- 450W and for such quality and price, you won’t find it..
- Strong beating without overheating.
- Quickly increases speeds.
- I keep it on turbo all the time and alternate up and down without any problem.
- When it’s on turbo for a long time, its power "drops" and the turbo equates to the last highest speed, without this being a problem.
- Quickly adds air and aerates mixtures that usually take 2x the time in other mixers.
- Strong handle with easy access to the buttons.
- I expected it to be louder in terms of sound for its watts, but then I realized it’s perfectly loud without making a terrible noise.
- The button that you press to detach the whisks is very good.
- Easy to clean.
- Easy to store, the cord wraps around itself and has a small clip that secures it and doesn’t come off.
- It has dough whisks. I haven’t used them. For doughs, I use the large mixer with the bowl because hand mixers burn out on medium-hard doughs.
Negatives: I would say there are none. Literally, there are none. You have watts, price, construction all 5/5 and it does its job, well, what else can I say...
I hope I helped as much as I could those looking for something good, economical, and that will be reliable over time. There is no other similar product with flat-sided whisks at such a low price. I know I’ve tired you, but you won’t find reviews that guide you on what you need. Enjoy whatever good you make! ;)
We are used to dealing with the components of a hand mixer...in hand, since the motors usually burn out or the gears break. Well, Philips has surpassed the norm. In less than ten short uses (for cake), a part of one beater broke off! (photo 1)
Update 13/02/2021. In less than another five gentle uses, the second beater also broke (photo 2).
We recommend NOT buying this product (consider all the reviews!).
The construction of the components is truly seriously problematic, while the spare parts either do not exist or cost more than the mixer itself! The warranty does not cover you! As a product, it is useless, unsuitable, or even dangerous.
Good value for money, I hope it lasts a couple of years because everything I've bought from Philips has "given up" on me.
I trusted the name PHILIPS and bought it to make meringues and cakes. I was amazed by its performance!

I bought it for 29€. Within 5 months, one of the beaters broke without me forcing it (I only use the mixer for cakes or whipped cream). The warranty does not cover the beaters, but a Philips spare parts store in my area managed to communicate with the dealership and give me new beaters. One year later, the new beater broke again. The beaters today cost 34€, so the mixer is going to be thrown away even though the motor is perfect.
First time I bought a Philips mixer and I am completely satisfied with its performance and quality! I have had it for 3 years and I use it at least 2-3 times a week for various preparations such as creams, doughs, etc. It is truly a very powerful tool! The only thing I regret is not buying it with its bowl. I don't know how long it will last, but it has definitely been worth the money for me, even though I paid double the current price.
It is a Christmas gift from my grandmother. Very nice, powerful, and fast mixer. It has succeeded in everything I have made so far. It works incredibly. I have no complaints. I believe it will last me for many years.
I don't know what others are complaining about with the mixer and how it broke after a couple of uses, but we've had it for a month and use it quite often, and it's very good.
With just two uses, both beaters broke with the butter hit. The replacements cost almost as much as a brand new mixer. I do not recommend it at all
Far away... in one month the mixer broke.. the price of the mixer set is 34€... the price of a new mixer with beaters is 22€...
For hand, one of the most beautiful and powerful products available. For cake, margarine, and simple doughs, it is amazing.
It is the 2nd time I buy this specific mixer. Unfortunately, both times the same beater broke at the joint. With light use, 1 cake per month, and purchase before 11 months. Meanwhile, the beater is more expensive than the entire mixer
I bought the mixer about three months ago and the beater broke at the joint while beating vegetable cream. Bad choice.
Yesterday I bought it and made a walnut pie.
I had to whisk the eggs for 15 minutes to make them fluffy.
Everything was fine. It smelled a little at first, but then everything was perfect. It got a little hot, but that's normal.
Quite fast and a little noisy.
I think it's a good choice for the money.
I bought this mixer for 28 euros. Within 5 months, one of the beaters broke at its joint while whisking cream, without ever struggling with dough or anything like that. Its warranty does not cover the wear and tear of moving parts, as I was informed by Philips. The unacceptable thing is that the replacement costs 30 euros! I spoke with the service again and again, as it seemed unthinkable to me, for a product that costs 28 euros, to have to pay 30 for its replacement. The response was that they can keep the prices low precisely because they price the replacements high!!! I never bought the replacement, because within a week the second beater broke at the same spot, proof of how cheaply made it is. I would not recommend it as a purchase to anyone.
I just made my first cake with this and the results are excellent. The fact that the beaters are made of flat and not simple round metal wire, made the dough very fluffy and the cake rose perfectly. I don't know much about cooking but today I felt... like a pro :-)
I have it here for a few days. I am satisfied with the mixer. It really froths the mixture a lot, resulting in an excellent outcome. It replaced my old Philips mixer from 10-15 years ago, and now, for the same quantity of mixture, we need a larger bowl, as the new one has more volume. If the old one doubled the volume, the new one triples it. We don't use it for dough, only for creams and light mixtures.
Very satisfied for the 2 months that I have it. Long and sturdy beaters with flat geometry, unlike the thin wires that my previous hand mixer had. Comfortable grip with ideal weight - not too light, not too heavy. It has been great for making cakes, which is its main use so far. Value for Money.
Really the best hand mixer I have used so far. Its attachments are long and can be used even in the deepest bowl without the mixer getting dirty. Also, the mixing beaters are very well designed. They fit inside each other and turn together. It also has a sturdy construction. And most importantly: it makes minimal noise. And at an excellent price.

Very good value for money! Excellent build quality and good performance, it has a switch with intensity levels plus a turbo button and 2 sets of attachments.
