For the use I got it, it's quite good... I mainly use it to measure the temperature of the pizza stone before I put the pizza on top. Now, in measuring room temperature, it still seems quite accurate.
Do not buy it, it shows at least 10 degrees wrong. I tested it on a human body and it shows 25 degrees. Money wasted
From the beginning, it seemed that something was not right... I tried it at the standard boiling water temperature and it showed 85 °C... in measuring body temperature, the mercury thermometer showed 37.8 and the digital one showed 26°C... wasted money... such a shame...
It is good. I believe it is not accurate. That is, it does not show the real temperature. But I use it indoors and keep the relative measurements. For example, if a surface always showed 30 degrees and the next day it shows 28. I don't know if these are true numbers, but I believe it's close. For me, who is interested in relative values and fluctuations, it does its job. If I wanted to measure food, I wouldn't be sure it shows the exact temperature.
There is a huge deviation from the actual temperature, up to 10 degrees. This mainly happens in negative temperatures.

It does what it promises, measures with laser or infrared depending on the choice you make, the temperatures seemed accurate in 2 heat transfer presses that I set at different temperatures, very good for its price.

4 years later, it works without any problem. It has a slight deviation in measurement, but for the job I need it for, it's not a problem. I bought it to make soap, but ended up using it everywhere, from measuring water temperature for bathing to cooking, frying, and such. It has fallen countless times and the plastic has broken in one spot, but it still works. One time, I left it in the sun and it got very hot, it went crazy and showed random readings, but as soon as it was in the shade, it returned to normal. For household, non-professional use, it's great, just keep it away from children because the laser can harm the eyes.
