The Bear can't wait to go to sleep. However, the Duck isn't sleepy and wants company! Who will convince whom in the end? And who will stay awake?
The truly very funny story, written by Jory John, illustrated by Benji Davies, and translated into Greek by the multi-award-winning author Philippos Mandilaras.
The book was awarded the E.B. White Read-Aloud Honor in 2015 in the category of illustrated children's book by the American Booksellers Association.

The bear is sleepy while his neighbor, the duck, has insomnia.
The duck knocks on the bear's door in the middle of the night and invades his house to play. The second time, he wakes him up by tapping on the window to make cookies. The third time, and more annoyingly, he uses the "emergency keys" he has and wakes him up by climbing onto his bed. I don't know what age group it is intended for, but it is not suitable for young children aged 3-4 years.
Note: I think it is a book for parents who identify with the bear
Smart and funny, my daughter really likes it and hasn't gotten bored of it. The rest of the same series are also worth it.
The child has a lot of fun with the story of Papio and the Bear! He wants to listen to it again and again! Especially if you make funny voices, it becomes even more entertaining!
Our little 2-year-old laughs a lot (okay, I also make funny voices for the bear and the duck, which probably plays a role too). It really grabs her attention. Very beautiful illustrations. We will get more from the series.
It is a book for children from the age of four and up, I believe. Nice illustrations, beautiful story.
One of our favorites! We never get tired of reading it again and again, it is also suitable for older ages..
Very good but short ... you need to use your own words as there are pages without text
It keeps us company for many nights! It caught my little one's interest from the very beginning, enriching it with my own words, very nice illustration!
From one and a half years old we have been reading it and now at two and a half he really likes it, especially the part where the bear keeps saying no, laughs and wants to have those dialogues
The little one has memorized the dialogues!
The whole family has memorized the dialogues and we are having an incredible time!
A very beautiful book with few and understandable words and beautiful illustrations, she doesn't get bored of it and enjoys reading it. The price is a bit high!
If both parents do it with enthusiasm, the little one will laugh with the annoying duck. Discover the hidden bad talent within you and through this bad talent, the even worse bond you have with your partner. You can also add your own words.
One of our 3-year-old's favorites, just like the rest of the series. Duck and bear shapes!!
Excellent book, one of our favorites and we have read many! It keeps the child's interest unchanged!
It kept us for several nights. Pleasant reading and relaxing, just what you need for a bedtime story.
Wonderful book! Very beautiful illustrations. I fully identified with the bear and my daughter with the duck! I will definitely buy the whole series.
One of the best books, we loved it!! It keeps us company every night, entertains us, and makes us laugh every time! The whole series of books is worth it!
Perfect book just like the whole series! The little one always wants us to read it for three years, and he has learned many phrases and sentences by heart !!!
Although it was added to the library of a small 18-month-old with the intention of being read much later, it didn't impress me at first glance, even though we love the illustrator (B. Davies) very much. To my great surprise, I found out that he simply adored it and it is the only book that makes him ask me to read it to him again and again! We definitely recommend it!
It is humorous but not suitable for very young ages because they do not understand neither the funny images nor the funny texts.
Simply favorite! Pleasant, with humor, nice illustrations and in the end personally it also makes me sleepy!
