The invention of the clothes steamer!

If you have pets or furry roommates/companions, LEAVE A HEART IN THIS POST as a tribute to the invention that solved our hands - the roller for hair and fur!!!

This roller is essentially a sticky surface applied on a rotating cylinder made of cardboard or plastic (with a handle at one end for us to hold). Super useful if you wear black pants and like to pet white kittens (that then jump on you and turn your black pants into zebra ones)!

The lint roller was invented in 1956 by American Nicholas McKay! The idea came to him when he had to clean his suit before going to his son's school dance (you know, the ones teenagers have in American movies where they wear crowns and tuxedos)!

So he takes a double-sided adhesive tape, puts it on a roll of paper, and also applies a wire inside so that he can hold and rotate it on his suit!

Nicholas saw the gap in the market and the very next day he opens a company with his wife selling household products!
