Essential products for the first aid box

My children are constantly running, falling, and usually hitting their knees and hands. That's why I always have with me, large sterile gauze pads, wound disinfectant spray, betadine, and hansaplast spray bandage.

Sometimes when they hurt and cry, they refuse all these products. So I discovered a little trick. I give them a saline ampoule and they put it on the wound themselves. 

Then, I apply a Hansaplast adhesive bandage with children's heroes that makes the wound more fun in their eyes!

Many of these hits will turn into bruises. It is essential to have a special cream that reduces swelling and soothes inflammation in the affected area. A cream with arnica is ideal for this.

Some deeper wounds may require better care, and for this reason, there are adhesive stitches.

For milder injuries, I apply a small amount of wound healing cream for faster healing.

An essential item in the first aid box is an anti-mosquito cream, as well as a cream ideal for insect bites, stings, and contact with nettles.

Because little bugs touch everything and sometimes minor accidents happen, I always have with me a cream or spray specifically for burns. Many times, if their sensitive skin turns red from the sun, I apply the same cream.

I am sure they will take countless dives and their eyes will turn red, or sand will blow and get in... One solution is saline solution. However, there are also single-use sterile wipes for eyes and eyelids.

Useful extra tips

I never leave the house without applying children's sunscreen with a high protection factor on their faces and hands.

A few days after bathing, we sit at a tavern for our lunch. Disinfectant spray, single-use toilet seat cover, and baby wipes are essential if the little ones need to use the toilet.

It may seem excessive, but I always carry travel-sized bottles of children's bubble bath, children's moisturizing face and body cream, children's lip balm, and small towels.

Finally, a thermometer to check their temperature if I feel their forehead is a little warm.

Before we leave for summer vacations, I first prepare my own toiletry bag with the necessary care and beauty products.

Immediately after, I prepare the first aid kit for my little ones.

I check the expiration dates of the products and replace those that have expired...

Now, I feel ready to face whatever happens on our summer vacations and enjoy these unique moments peacefully...
