These are this year's iPad Air and iPad Pro
The Apple presented its new iPad for 2024, refreshing a category that seemed to need it for a long time. Both from the financial results that show that the said category did not perform particularly well in the last period, as well as from the competition, Apple needed a renewal in its iPads and now we have it.
Initially, the new iPad Air comes for the first time in two sizes, one with a diagonal of 11 inches and one with a diagonal of 13 inches. Inside both, there is Apple's M2 processor and you will find them in stores in four colors (blue, purple, starlight, and space grey). There are two cameras, one front and one back, at 12MP, Touch ID mechanism for user verification, and the base model comes with 128GB of storage. This is the first significant upgrade of the iPad Air from the model with the M1 of 2022 and Apple's goal is to offer a more affordable solution for anyone who does not want a tablet for "heavy" tasks. They also support Wi-Fi 6E and 5G.

The highlight of the event was the new iPad Pro, which come with an OLED display and the powerful M4. The screen offers better blacks and richer colors, while the front camera is improved and helps even more in productive work and video calls. Impressive is their thickness, which in the 13-inch version reaches just 5.1 millimeters! Apple notes that the M4 is almost 50% faster than the M2, while the new iPad Pro also offers quadruple the GPU speed.
Finally, the new Magic Keyboard was presented, as well as the new Apple Pencil Pro. Especially the second one brings a significant update to the category. It supports Find My to add it to the homonymous application and locate it wherever you have left it. Furthermore, it brings a special gyroscope function called "Barrel Roll" and the user can press it to display new features and menus in various professional apps.
