Concealer 101: Tips to achieve the perfect application!
Concealer, along with mascara (and blush) are those beauty products that star in all makeups, from the most natural to the most intense!
Regarding concealer, which is the subject of today's article, it is without a doubt a product that can instantly brighten the eyes, give us a refreshed look, and cover any "imperfections".
How many times, though, due to incorrect placement, have we achieved the opposite result?
It is not uncommon for concealer to break in fine lines during the day, or even disappear. However, this is something that can be corrected immediately, with some very easy and non-time-consuming tips that will ensure you the ideal placement and duration!
1. Proper hydration: I honestly can't recall how many times these words have "passed" through my keyboard. Proper hydration is a fundamental principle, not only in makeup but also in a more general context in order to have a healthy body and healthy skin. The eye area is no exception, so for a flawless application of concealer, use an eye cream with a light texture that absorbs quickly to prepare it properly and prevent the concealer from "breaking"!

2. Choose the right concealer for you: The texture of the concealer you choose largely determines the result and application it will have. Drier concealers tend to "break" more quickly and "settle" into fine lines. Ideally, you can choose a more "elastic" or lighter concealer for everyday use, while if you want more coverage, you can opt for a heavier concealer, but use a smaller amount so that the result does not look cakey. Less is more!

3. Application of concealer with the right tools: Proper placement, as expected, brings the "right" results! For a more natural result, apply a small amount only to the areas you want to cover with a concealer brush, and then gently pat the area with your fingers. The warmth of your fingers will help seamlessly blend the concealer and give you a perfect and radiant result! Similarly, makeup sponges will help you achieve a flawless application, and if you want more coverage, you can "build" the result with small amounts that are easier to manage.

4. "Lock in" the result with a loose powder: To extend the duration of the concealer and prevent creasing in fine lines, after applying it, set the eye area with a loose powder to "lock it in" and prevent it from moving. You don't need to apply a large amount of powder, just use a fluffy brush (or a sponge) to apply a small amount and the result will not disappoint you!
