Xbox opens up to PS5 and Nintendo Switch with 4 of its games!

4 videogames that we knew from Microsoft and Xbox are coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch!

Microsoft recently organized an online presentation in the form of a podcast to discuss its plans for Xbox. This development came after several days of speculation about negative developments within the company, with Phil Spencer appearing to be in a very difficult position, both in terms of sales of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, as well as due to the ceiling of the Game Pass on consoles and PC.

Although what was heard was quite dramatic and would certainly change the gaming market significantly, we did not have very bad news for the American company, which committed to continue its investments, bring even more games to the Xbox Series X/S, present a more powerful system by the end of the year, and bring titles from Activision Blizzard to its subscription platform. However, the first step, which brings its games to other systems, was taken at the beginning of the last ten days of February, and we became wiser. Games that we knew on Xbox are coming to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

Let's see in detail!

Pentiment

The first of the games coming to other systems is Pentiment. It is an adventure with an emphasis on storytelling, with the signature of Josh Sawyer. Players take on the role of Andreas Maler, a wandering artist living in a time of great social unrest and entangled in a 25-year-old murder mystery. Pentiment is already available for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.

Grounded

The unique first person survival game by Obsidian Entertainment, Grounded, is coming to PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch on April 16th. It will support cross play between all platforms. The protagonists in the game are 4 friends who discover a technology that shrinks them and try to survive inside a backyard full of insects and plants. This way, they get closer to the animal kingdom and are called to overcome all difficulties.

Hi-Fi Rush

Hi-Fi Rush is a unique game full of action and dance developed by Tango Gameworks. It was released in January 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X/S and is coming to PS5 on March 18, 2024. The protagonist is the self-proclaimed future star Chai, who lives through music. The whole world around him follows and all actions in the gameplay are combined with the sounds of the soundtrack, so you can both attack and defend in this way.

Sea of Thieves

Finally, we have Sea of Thieves, a game by Rare that constantly fills with content from Rare and takes players to the sea and various islands. There, they are called to build their ship's crew, face threats on land and sea, and win unique treasures. The game was released in 2018 for PC and Xbox One and was one of the first games to enter Game Pass. Its multiplayer nature will bring players into a huge open world full of challenges.
