The carnival season is the perfect opportunity to throw a super party at home, organizing the most entertaining evening, strictly for costumed guests. Here you will find everything you need for decoration and equipment!

#Decoration for Carnivals

It's your chance to go overboard, to choose the kitschiest items and to combine decorations and accessories as you wish. Carnival decoration has no rules and doesn't follow trends. You can put everything and in large quantities!

Hanging Decorations

Decorate walls, curtains, and furniture with colorful garlands, banners, and flags that will create a joyful atmosphere! If you choose a themed party, there are many options in designs and colors available. You can also add balloons with the sun to further fill the space.

Serpentines & Confetti

You need to decide that if you choose to have confetti (which, between us, someone will definitely bring along), you will be collecting leftovers until August 15th. But what's the harm? It's one of the essentials at a carnival party. Serpentines can of course be used as decoration, but you can also leave some in the space for the guests to have fun with.

Carnival accessories all over the place

Various accessories cannot be missing from a carnival celebration for those who will suddenly come or for those who did not dress up but changed their minds along the way. You can place baskets with various carnival accessories in various parts of the house, such as masks, glasses, hats, wigs, noses, ears, boa feathers, and anything else you can imagine! In addition, horns and whistles must not be missing for the necessary carnival chaos.

Drinks, Beers & Accessories

Party cannot happen without these, especially during carnival. Organize your own small wine cellar, for which your guests should also take care of, by bringing a drink or wine. You can have some options, which will be renewed throughout the evening. Don't forget ice buckets, ice tongs, disposable cups, and straws. Shot glasses are absolutely necessary if you want the Macarena to have a different meaning.

Snacks & Treats

Food is also important for carnival-goers to have the energy to dance Djobi Djoba and La Bomba. Classic snacks such as potato chips, shrimp, nuts, and crackers, along with cheeses, cold cuts, marshmallows or mini hot dogs, pizza, and burgers are perfect for your party. Make sure you have everything you need for serving.

#Music!

If you can, hire a DJ with their own equipment who knows how to "elevate" your carnival party. Alternatively, you can create your own playlist with popular carnival songs, Latin rhythms, Greek 60's, 70's & 80's, and your favorite 90's pop songs. What you will definitely need are good Hi-Fi speakers, a disco ball or lighting effects (must-have accessories for every party), and if you want even more fun, a karaoke system!

After the party...

You will definitely need large garbage bags, a good electric vacuum cleaner, and vitamin C to treat your hangover the next day!
