Buying Guide for Eye Creams

Tired, swollen eyes or dark circles? Do you want to give your skin a dose of renewal? Do you want an eye cream!

However, before you make a purchase, what are the main characteristics that you should consider when buying an eye cream?

1. Ingredients

Eye creams have many ingredients in their formula, but they all have 1-2 active ingredients that "stand out". Let's see them!

Collagen: Gives firmness to the skin and helps in anti-aging.

Aloe: Provides immediate hydration and is recommended for sensitive skin.

Vitamin C: Gives radiance to the skin and reduces discoloration.

Retinol: Enhances cell renewal, contributes to firmness and regeneration of the skin. It is recommended that the initial applications be at longer intervals, for example, 1 to 2 times a week.

Hyaluronic acid: Effectively reduces the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, deeply hydrates the skin, and revitalizes the skin.

Caviar: Provides deep hydration of the cells, stimulates skin regeneration, has antioxidant properties, and tones the skin.

2. Skin Needs

There are many ingredients, each of which helps the skin in its own way. What is very important is to determine the needs of your skin:

3. Composition

With this filter, you can select specific characteristics related to the origin of the cream.

Vegan:  No animal-derived ingredients are included in the cream.

Cruelty Free: No animal testing has been conducted during the production of the cream.

4. Additional needs

Are you looking for a cream specifically designed for men's skin or mature skin? Choose the corresponding filter!

Do you have any questions about applying eye cream? We have the answers!

What is the best time to apply eye cream?

Ideally in the morning and at night! If you wear makeup in the mornings or don't have time, then only at night. But remember, create a routine and try to stick to it. Consistency is key!

What is the "correct" way to apply it?

Apply a small amount, about 2 small dots of product, on the temples and spread it with gentle and circular motions in the area.

Why specifically on the temples? Because it exerts the least force and we want the application of the cream to be done with gentle movements!

What is the "correct" way to store it?

To properly preserve the cream, store it in a cool place, away from sunlight, and don't forget to close the lid tightly to avoid air exposure!

Have you never tried an ingredient before? Do the patch test!

The patch test is a test for possible skin allergies. Apply a small amount of serum on a small area and after a few days, check if it has caused any irritation. If not, chances are you're good to go!

In case you have an allergy to any ingredient, besides the main one, also check the specific characteristics of the serum. In any case, consult your dermatologist before using any product!

Remember, that many times there may be a difference in a product, based on its overall characteristics and construction. Before making a decision, read the reviews of other users to see their opinion and compare them with the use you want to make!
