• Two USB Type C ports on the front compared to one USB Type C and USB A of the older models.
• No difference in performance. The main hardware features of the console remain the same.

Which version is most suitable for you?

If you are a collector of physical games or watch movies on Blue Ray, then prefer the Sony PlayStation 5 Slim with the Drive. If you are not interested in that and desire a smaller size console, then the Sony PlayStation 5 Slim Digital is the most suitable choice. With the Digital version, you buy games online and store them on the console.

If you run out of space, you can purchase an additional SSD compatible with PlayStation 5 or delete a game that you no longer play. Don't worry, you don't lose it, you just need to download it again if you want to play it.

In case you change your mind at some point and need the Disc Drive, don't worry. You have the option to convert the PlayStation 5 Slim Digital to PlayStation 5 Slim with the Sony PlayStation 5 Disc Drive.
