Make an easy cheese pie with tortillas!

Tired of the classic cheese pie? Do you have tortillas at home that have dried out? Don't throw them away!

The team at diatrefo has prepared a recipe for a healthy cheese pie, using the leftover tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 small container of 2% yogurt
  • 125ml milk 
  • 125ml water
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, Pepper
  • 250g low-fat feta cheese
  • 100g light Dirollo mozzarella
  • 5-6 large whole wheat tortillas

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the eggs and yogurt well until homogeneous.
  • Then add the milk, water, and olive oil.
  • Continue mixing and add salt, pepper, and our cheeses.
  • Finally, cut the tortillas into strips or small pieces, pour them into our mixture, and let them soften.
  • In a small baking dish, place our mixture and bake at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes, until our cheese pie takes on a golden color.

You can easily make it and it's a perfect idea that can be included in your diet, either as a main meal or as a snack!
